  8. 2 tbs Dahi

  10. 10-12 Kaju (Cashew nuts) soaked
  11. Pani (Water)

  13. 1 tbs Cooking oil
  14. 1 tbsp Kali mirch (Black pepper)
  15. Makhan
  16. 1 large Pyaz (Onion) grinded ,
  17. ½ tbs Adrak (Ginger) grated
  18. 1 tbsp Lehsan (Garlic) paste ,
  19. 1 Hari mirch (Green chilli) crushed
  20. ½ tsp Safed mirch powder (White pepper powder)
  21. 1/2 tbsp Zeera
  22. 1/2 tsp Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder)
  23. ½ tsp or to taste, Namak (Salt)

Steps to make to make Chicken Makhni Handi

  1. Cut chicken fillets into cubes.
  2. In bowl,add chicken boneless cubes,white pepper powder,ginger garlic paste,cream,cumin seeds,salt green chilies,yogurt,lemon juice,mix well and marinate for 2 hours.
  3. In blender,add cashew nuts,water and blend well & set aside. In pan,add cooking oil and marinated chicken, until done add cashew nuts & set aside.
  4. For gravy
  5. In wok,add cooking oil,butter and let it melt. Add grinded onion,mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  6. Add ginger,green chilies mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add white pepper powder,black pepper powder,salt and mix well. Add yogurt and mix well for 2-3 minutes. Add milk and mix well.
  7. Add cream and mix well. Now add grilled chicken. Now cover and cook for few minutes.
  8. Garnishing:
    Add butter, green chillies, Ginger & serve!
    Makhni Handi is ready to serve with roti and Naan.
